This mission-critical position focuses on building the data foundation required to measure the advertising flywheel. The selected professional will define the connectivity strategy, improve data and signal quality, and collaborate across departments to ensure accurate ingestion of metrics. Responsibilities include shaping multi-year roadmaps, integrating systems with the broader ad stack, and addressing industry shifts related to privacy regulations, cookies, and browsers.
The role is suited for an experienced product leader with a strong background in ads data, marketing measurement, and signal quality. Candidates must be comfortable working within an ambiguous space and executing strategies from ideation to adoption. This position requires being in a commutable distance from the New York office for in-person collaboration once or twice a quarter. Relocation assistance is not offered for this opening.
Responsibilities
- Manage the vision, creation, and execution of the data and signal ingestion and connectivity strategy for advertising measurement.
- Drive integration into the ad stack and collaborate with offsite, business platform, and ads quality teams to maximize signal utility.
- Establish multi-year roadmaps for ingesting high-quality and expanded signals through partners including agencies, data providers, retail media networks, and mobile measurement partners.
- Design pathways for signal coverage expansion utilizing server-to-server integrations, conversion API, tags, APIs, clean rooms, and offline data uploads.
- Set operating models and objectives and key results that connect signal health to advertising trust, measurement credibility, and ad performance.
- Employ buy, build, and partner approaches to ensure rapid execution.
- Partner with engineering, data science, product marketing management, and ads product leaders to ensure accurate signal ingestion and utilization.
- Represent the company viewpoint on industry shifts regarding browsers, cookies, signal loss, and privacy regulations, translating them into product strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Product Manager or in a related role.
- 5 to 7 or more years of substantial experience in ads data, signals, or marketing measurement.
- Deep understanding of the data and signals ecosystem and methods to improve signal quality within an ad stack.
- Experience with privacy-safe measurement, conversion APIs, tags, pixels, clean rooms, data partners, and mobile measurement partners.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, data science, analytics, research, or product marketing management teams.
- Demonstrated ability to define new products and strategies within ambiguous environments, executing from ideation through adoption.
- Strong stakeholder empathy and collaboration skills covering advertisers, creators, Pinners, and internal partners.
- Deep understanding of online platform business metrics and trade-offs.
- Ability to work from the New York office for in-person collaboration one to two times per quarter.
Qualifications
- Experience with social, video, commerce, or organic-and-paid measurement.
- Experience building advertiser-facing measurement products or working directly with advertisers and agencies.
- Understanding of attribution, incrementality, marketing mix modeling, or cross-channel measurement.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
