The engineering group seeks a Staff AI Engineer – AI Product to spearhead the creation of intelligent, client-facing functionalities utilizing modern large language models. This position suits individuals with extensive engineering experience who excel at bridging complex machine learning capabilities with practical productivity use cases.
The selected candidate will collaborate closely with product management, design, and technical teams to craft seamless, reliable, and secure artificial intelligence integrations. Responsibilities include orchestrating multiple machine learning models, prototyping new capabilities, establishing evaluation metrics, and ensuring robust production performance. Additionally, the role involves guiding fellow engineers on best practices for building intelligent products and tracking ongoing research developments to shape the product roadmap.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Demonstrated background in designing and releasing intelligent capabilities in a production environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of large language models, their capabilities, and integration approaches
- Experience utilizing orchestration frameworks to blend multiple models into cohesive user experiences
- Background in creating assessment metrics and frameworks focused on business and user value
- Familiarity with data protection, security, and compliance standards for artificial intelligence
- At least 5 years of backend or full-stack development expertise using languages like Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
- At least 5 years of experience working with databases such as PostgresDB or MySQL
- At least 5 years of experience utilizing search technologies like Elasticsearch
- Experience implementing production-ready logging and observability
