Zoox is currently hiring a full-time Staff Compensation Manager to operate on a hybrid schedule. The organization is building an autonomous vehicle fleet and its supporting ecosystem, merging robotics, artificial intelligence, and urban mobility design.
This position focuses on designing and advancing corporate pay strategies to match enterprise growth, with potential progression toward the Head of Compensation role. The individual will lead executive compensation frameworks for M5-plus levels, drive key strategic programs, and build analytical models that influence workforce planning and market positioning.
The role suits a compensation professional with extensive experience managing complex rewards structures, driving data-informed decisions, and advising senior leadership. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Finance, Recruiting, HRIS, and People Partners to guarantee program alignment and consistency across diverse geographies.

Responsibilities
- Manage executive compensation frameworks for M5 and above levels, encompassing base pay, incentives, and equity structures
- Partner with senior leaders, Finance, Recruiting, and People Partners to align reward strategies with business objectives
- Develop market pricing methodologies and data-driven recommendations for geographical expansion
- Build analytical models and tools to assist with workforce planning, retention tracking, and compensation scenarios
- Support significant organizational transitions including job architecture updates and M and A integration
- Design operational templates and frameworks to scale compensation processes efficiently
Requirements
- Over eight years of professional background within the compensation field
- Direct exposure to strategic compensation programs and executive pay management
- Demonstrated capability in data modeling and analytical problem-solving
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, market benchmarking, and compensation standards
- Experience communicating and influencing executive leadership stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or a related discipline
- Master degree in a relevant field
- Professional certifications related to human resources or compensation
