This on-site Staff Data Engineer role in Hyderabad supports ServiceNow CRM Agentic AI. The engineer designs data architecture and pipelines for structured and unstructured data, and builds the measurement layer that shows whether AI agents complete their tasks.
Work includes defining evaluation metrics with product and AI teams, setting labeling standards, creating evaluation datasets and automating dashboards. The role sets standards others adopt and mentors junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee data pipelines for structured and unstructured sources
- Define evaluation metrics and ground truth labeling standards for AI agents
- Build automated evaluation pipelines, dashboards and reproducible datasets
- Set design standards and quality gates, and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- 8+ years in data engineering with production data platforms owned end to end
- Hands-on experience building evaluation or measurement infrastructure for ML or AI systems
- Experience defining ground truth and directing labeling work
- Production Python, strong SQL, distributed processing and workflow orchestration
Qualifications
- Familiarity with sales CRM, lead-to-cash or order data
- Experience with automated evaluation suites or data factory approaches
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
