The organization is currently seeking a remote Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to integrate directly with various internal business teams. In this position, the professional analyzes current departmental operations, identifies operational bottlenecks, and engineers production-grade artificial intelligence workflows designed to elevate efficiency and productivity.
This is an engineering role rather than a support or solutions position, requiring the practitioner to ship live systems that can subsequently be scaled into reusable organizational capabilities. Success in the function is evaluated by tangible metrics such as generated revenue, minimized manual labor, reduced cycle times, and cost savings.
Responsibilities
- Embed directly within internal business groups to understand their daily operational methods.
- Map existing departmental workflows to pinpoint manual efforts, handoffs, rework, and time sinks.
- Prioritize and align with partners on AI opportunities that maximize business outcomes.
- Develop and deploy production-ready artificial intelligence workflows.
- Scale successful solutions into reusable capabilities for the broader organization.
- Track success through concrete business results like revenue growth, labor elimination, and cycle time reductions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python alongside backend or full-stack depth in Node.js, TypeScript, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD pipelines and SQL.
- Working knowledge of LLMs and agentic patterns including RAG, prompt engineering, tool use, context management, evaluation, and orchestration frameworks like LangChain or MCP.
Qualifications
- Experience utilizing LLMs to extract structure from unstructured files, conversations, and transcripts.
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms like Temporal, Zapier, or n8n.
- Familiarity with process mining or workflow analysis concepts such as BPMN, event logs, and process discovery.
