The group builds the AI and machine learning base for personalized engagement. Its systems let applications, staff, and AI agents recall who a customer is, what that person has done, and the most effective way to reach them. The engineer runs rapid research loops on context-aware intelligence and big-data ML challenges, converts loose concepts into rigorous experiments within weeks, and creates ML services that carry heavy production load.
Other work covers in-depth study of LLM orchestration, retrieval approaches, and data-driven personalization, plus adoption of current AI development stacks so the team concentrates on what distinguishes its product.
The role calls for at least eight years of applied ML or AI work, backed by a history of carrying complex systems from design through to completion. The engineer should be comfortable building from scratch under unclear requirements and should lift a team's standards through coaching and design review. Requirements
- Eight or more years of applied ML or AI work, having owned complex systems end to end
- Ease with building from scratch under unclear requirements, paired with a bias toward action
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience developing cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure that process large data volumes, real-time inference, or several data stores
- Solid background in statistical learning, transformer architectures, and LLMs
- Capacity to elevate a team through coaching, design reviews, and standard-setting, without a formal management title
- Clear communicator who collaborates well
Qualifications
- Exposure to self-directed agents that manage back-and-forth dialogue and keep consistent long-term context
- Experience predicting user behavior, designing experiments, and applying causal techniques when randomization is incomplete
- Work history on a geographically dispersed team
