Job Description
GitLab operates an intelligent DevSecOps orchestration platform trusted by over fifty million registered users and more than half of the Fortune 100 to ship secure software efficiently. The company is currently hiring a remote Staff Product Manager for Agentic Planning, with the possibility of a Principal level appointment depending on qualifications and scope. Base salary for United States residents ranges from $168,000 to $285,600 per year, determined by factors including geographic location, market data, internal equity, and individual qualifications. GitLab provides various benefits designed to support employee health, finances, and overall well-being.

- Share product ownership of planning features—including boards, specifications, work items, and portfolio planning—with another team member
- Collaborate with engineering and design to transform product strategy into a concrete roadmap and workflow improvements
- Present recommendations clearly to executive leadership, challenge established assumptions constructively, and guide the team through strategic shifts

- Deep familiarity with software development and DevOps workflows, including the downstream impacts of planning decisions
- Capacity to form and defend a product perspective in an uncertain market while remaining open to diverse ideas
