The organization is currently seeking a Staff Product Manager to guide strategic direction and execute hands-on development across multiple product areas or foundational platform surfaces. In this capacity, you will operate as a builder who prototypes cross-functional workflows, analyzes customer metrics, and scales your personal output through advanced AI tools. The position is structured for professionals who can simultaneously manage big-picture strategy and granular execution without delegating details away.
This role suits experienced product leaders who actively utilize coding and automation software like Cursor or Claude Code to build functional prototypes independently. You will collaborate across engineering, design, data science, and go-to-market teams to unify complex systems while mentoring senior product managers to elevate team performance.
Responsibilities
- Define and manage a cross-functional problem area or foundational platform space that impacts multiple product surfaces
- Establish strategic alignment and make critical decisions across various product teams
- Analyze signals from customer calls, support metrics, data insights, and partner feedback
- Develop prototypes for cross-cutting concepts and workflows independently
- Create AI frameworks, patterns, and workflows to share leverage across the broader product team
- Mentor senior product managers to raise functional output and standards
- Represent the product perspective in discussions with executive leadership across multiple teams
- Contribute to departmental operations including discovery processes, quality definitions, and success metrics
Requirements
- Possess six to eight or more years of product management experience
- Demonstrate a proven history of managing multiple product areas or owning foundational platforms
- Show the ability to drive cross-functional alignment without direct authority
- Demonstrate strong systems thinking by accounting for second-order effects
- Hold both strategic vision and execution capabilities simultaneously
- Display a track record of elevating other product managers
- Exhibit strong data instincts including pulling analysis and defining correct metrics
- Demonstrate experience with AI tooling to scale personal coverage
- Communicate effectively at the executive stakeholder level
- Leverage artificial intelligence to generate PRDs, validate launches, and synthesize user feedback
- Build functional prototypes using AI coding technologies such as Cursor or Claude Code
- Perform quality assurance testing on your own deliverables utilizing browser automation utilities
- Remain current with technologies like Claude Code, Cursor, Figma AI, and MCP integrations
