Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert in distributed systems and data technologies
- Design and construct scalable data systems, storage platforms, and processing frameworks using modern technologies
- Research and drive technical innovation aligned with industry best practices
- Coach and mentor software engineers to foster continuous learning and high technical standards
- Partner with cross-functional departments to turn business objectives into efficient technical architectures

Requirements
- Minimum of eight years of software development experience with a concentration on data infrastructure
- Demonstrated history of designing and shipping large-scale, complex data projects
- Advanced knowledge of big data components including Spark, Kafka, and Clickhouse
- Hands-on expertise utilizing Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform to orchestrate and manage containerized production workloads
- Practical background building and running cloud data platforms on AWS
- Proficiency in Go, Java, Python, and Bash accompanied by solid problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership experience in developing and guiding engineering team members
- Excellent communication abilities to influence technical strategies and align cross-functional partners
