This on-site Staff Software Engineer role in Bengaluru works on the integration layer of ServiceNow's security platform. The engineer connects legacy security tools with AI-native agents by designing distributed integration architectures built on APIs, webhooks and streaming pipelines.

Responsibilities
- Design resilient distributed integration architectures using APIs, webhooks and streaming pipelines
- Build shared libraries and unified data models for security tool integrations
- Lead work on LLM-based reasoning and agentic workflows in the product stack
- Mentor senior engineers and set code quality and performance standards
Requirements
- 15+ years of hands-on software engineering with production distributed systems
- Expert Python skills, including memory management, concurrency and performance tuning
- Strong grasp of TCP/IP and L3-L7 networking and security infrastructure
- Experience with highly available systems built on Kafka and message queues
Qualifications
- Experience with RAG or agentic workflows, or a strong desire to learn them
- MS or PhD in computer science preferred, or equivalent technical experience
