Responsibilities
- Own the design and delivery of major Kubernetes platform subsystems from design to production
- Write operators, controllers, infrastructure automation and platform services in Go
- Own the operability of your systems, including SLOs, failure modes, upgrades and on-call
- Mentor earlier-career engineers and align work with the wider platform architecture
Requirements
- Eight or more years building production software and operating distributed systems
- Strong Go programming with production Kubernetes controller or operator experience
- Hands-on depth with at least one major hyperscaler such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Qualifications
- Experience with managed Kubernetes such as EKS, AKS or GKE
- Experience with container networking, mTLS, workload identity and observability
- Experience with Terraform, Crossplane or similar declarative tooling
