Requirements

  • Strong foundation in building fault-tolerant distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and database design
  • Practical experience utilizing AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Expertise in designing and creating high-scale, low-latency APIs
  • Familiarity with database technologies including MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB
  • Demonstrated debugging and troubleshooting abilities for complex distributed applications
  • Experience shipping services following CI/CD development paradigms
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

  • Experience working with event streaming platforms like Kafka or Pulsar
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration utilities such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and networking principles
  • Background in creating multi-tenant SaaS platforms at scale
  • Experience utilizing observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
  • Prior experience operating within a geographically distributed team
