Responsibilities
- Formulate the long-term strategy and roadmap for the Ads ML platform by incorporating advanced technologies such as Generative AI and LLM workflows.
- Develop internal products and tooling to minimize friction for Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers during model training, deployment, and iteration.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Data Science, and Ads Product groups to prioritize initiatives and deploy scalable infrastructure.
- Manage key performance indicators regarding platform reliability, cost-efficiency, latency, usage metrics, and developer productivity.
- Monitor developments in the broader machine learning ecosystem to apply emerging architectures practically to the advertising platform.
- Conduct user research with machine learning engineers across ranking, content understanding, and creative effectiveness to convert user challenges into precise product specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of product management experience focused on developer tools, internal technical products, data and ML platforms, or ads and content ranking.
- Strong technical background with familiarity across complex data systems and the complete machine learning lifecycle including training, inference, deployment, and monitoring.
- Proven capability to translate technical constraints such as GPU scheduling and latency budgets into actionable product roadmaps.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical needs to business stakeholders and explaining business objectives to engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Prior professional background working as a Data Scientist, Backend Software Engineer, or Machine Learning Engineer prior to transitioning into product management.
- Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem encompassing ranking, bidding, and targeting.
- Practical experience implementing or managing systems that support Generative AI and LLM workflows including RAG, prompt iteration, fine-tuning, and agentic automation.
