Job Description
Reddit operates a massive online platform connecting hundreds of millions of users across over one hundred thousand active communities. The company's infrastructure department is currently undertaking an unprecedented modernization effort, simultaneously migrating legacy clusters, expanding multi-region operations, and scaling machine learning serving capabilities across dozens of platform teams.
Reddit is seeking an experienced Staff Technical Program Manager, Infrastructure (IC5) to join its Technical Program Management Office within the office of the CTO. This remote-friendly role acts as the crucial link across Reddit's entire infrastructure portfolio, encompassing compute, storage, messaging, transport, security, and compliance. The position suits a technical generalist who can dive deep into complex architectures, guide cross-functional teams through large-scale migrations, and align execution with long-term technical strategies.
The successful candidate will manage major multi-team initiatives, establish repeatable organizational processes, and leverage AI tooling to enhance program outcomes and cost analytics. Candidates should possess a strong background combining engineering expertise with program management capabilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively with engineering directors and finance leadership alike. Reddit supports a flexible workforce with remote work availability in countries where the company maintains a physical presence.

Requirements
- Over 8 years of collective experience spanning engineering and program management
- Strong technical depth regarding Kubernetes orchestration, storage engines, Kafka messaging systems, ML serving infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and traffic management
- Proven track record of scoping, scheduling, and executing long-term infrastructure programs and cloud-based migrations involving multiple teams
- Demonstrated experience using AI or LLM tooling to streamline program workflows, automate reporting, or boost productivity
- Proficiency with observability and data platforms such as Grafana, BigQuery, Hex, or Looker to build cost reporting and alerts
Qualifications
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code practices, CI/CD systems, observability platforms, and container orchestration tools
