Bosch is seeking a professional for the SW Architect CICD_EPS1 position to handle architectural design and continuous integration operations. This role focuses on translating technical needs into structured system designs while managing complex Jenkins architectures and Python environments. Responsibilities
- Translate system requirements into viable architectural designs using the C4 model and document decisions
- Design and implement complex, scalable CI/CD pipelines utilizing Jenkins Shared Libraries written in Groovy
- Manage Jenkins controller and agent setups, plugins, performance optimization, and configuration-as-code
- Build applications and automation using the modern Python ecosystem including Poetry, Pytest, Pylint, and Typer
- Integrate development tools with platform technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and Infrastructure as Code APIs
Requirements
- Mastery of systematic architectural design focusing on scalability and reliability
- Expert-level knowledge of Jenkins architecture and Jenkins-as-Code
- Expertise in pipeline development with Groovy, Spock testing, and CodeNarc code quality tools
- Extensive experience with Python dependency management, testing frameworks, and static analysis
- Background in Linux-based embedded software development
Qualifications
- BE or ME degree with an Electronics background
- Eighty to ten years of total professional experience
- Understanding of platform integration with Docker, Kubernetes, Artifactory, and IaC APIs
- Proficiency in REST API principles and data serialization formats such as JSON, YAML, and TOML
