Job Description

Resilience packages security services, cyber coverage and risk analytics into one offering. Founded in 2016 by veterans of senior US military and intelligence work, it pairs risk-quantification software, security specialists and cyber coverage for mid-sized and large organizations with annual revenue between $100 million and $10 billion. Backers include General Catalyst, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Founders Fund.

The Tabletop Exercise (TTX) Specialist designs, builds and runs realistic cyber crisis simulations for clients. The role reports to the Director of Security and Risk Services and serves as a trusted adviser who puts clients' response, recovery and continuity plans under pressure, so executives are rehearsed before a real attack happens.

Within six months, the specialist should be auditing client response plans to find weak spots, and writing customized exercise guides, facilitator scripts and scoring criteria suited to each client's sector and regulatory duties. The job also includes running live and in-person sessions with senior executives and legal, communications and people-team leaders as they work through simulated ransomware, data theft and wider security incidents.

After every session, the specialist leads debriefs and drafts after-action reports that capture lessons, the regulatory considerations behind decisions, and recommended security steps. The person also helps improve Resilience's proprietary exercise frameworks and methods as the client base expands internationally.

The posting asks for three to five years designing and delivering cyber exercises, incident response, disaster recovery and continuity plans for enterprises, along with experience guiding non-technical executives through crisis simulations. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or comparable hands-on experience, is needed. Working familiarity with major US and European cyber and privacy regimes, including GDPR, NIS2, CCPA and SEC disclosure rules for cyber incidents, is also required, along with strong project management and readiness to travel up to 25 percent across the US and Europe.

The posted compensation range is $100,000 to $135,000 USD. Applications must be filed through the company's official greenhouse.io platform, and interviews are conducted only through approved Resilience accounts.
