This position suits an experienced software engineer and people leader who wants to manage engineering teams, guide technical strategy, and directly impact patient-facing experiences.
In this role, you will oversee architecture, contribute hands-on to application development, and collaborate closely with product, design, data, and infrastructure leads. You will be responsible for guiding services that support hundreds of thousands of active patients while onboarding thousands more daily. The role requires a candidate who can balance technical execution with professional development and mentorship for engineers at various career levels.

Responsibilities
- Oversee technical direction and architecture to build durable and high-quality services for patient experiences
- Partner with product, design, data, engineering, and infrastructure leads to define strategy, roadmaps, and feature execution
- Contribute hands-on to application development
- Lead an adaptable engineering team to deliver short-term and long-term business goals
- Manage and mentor an engaged engineering team through professional development opportunities
- Evolve engineering best practices, technical quality, and mentorship in collaboration with senior engineering leadership
Requirements
- 2+ years of people leadership or management experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience in consumer-facing or product-driven organizations
- Proven track record of delivering impactful, timely, and robust technical solutions in complex spaces
- Strong communication, analytical, and technical skills
- Experience building scalable, high-throughput, and highly available systems
- Familiarity with core stack languages including Python, TypeScript, and React
