Bosch seeks a UI Designer with experience in the automotive domain to join its team in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role involves partnering with a User Researcher to turn business needs and user insights into intuitive, scalable interfaces. The position spans the entire product lifecycle, from initial research and ideation to implementation and quality assurance. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates proactively, and works effectively both independently and within distributed international teams.
This role focuses heavily on B2B and enterprise application design, requiring expertise in creating modular applications, maintaining brand-compliant design languages, and delivering pixel-perfect user interfaces. Candidates must possess expert-level proficiency in Figma and demonstrate strong prototyping, documentation, and design system capabilities. A strategic mindset and experience collaborating closely with development teams are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Translate validated user needs and business requirements into scalable, intuitive user interfaces
- Collaborate across the entire design lifecycle from research and ideation to implementation and quality assurance
- Partner with a dedicated User Researcher to align new concepts with existing user journeys and design patterns
- Create pixel-perfect user interfaces that maintain a consistent, brand-compliant design language
- Build clean, reusable component structures using advanced Figma features including Auto Layout, variants, and shared libraries
- Collaborate closely with development teams through design handovers and implementation reviews
- Provide and receive constructive feedback within a strategic mindset
Requirements
- Automotive or manufacturing domain experience
- 5 to 9 years of professional experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma with strong experience in Auto Layout, components, variants, shared libraries, variables, and layout grids
- Excellent English communication skills in both written and spoken formats
- Ability to work independently, asynchronously, and proactively in distributed international teams
Qualifications
- Experience designing complex enterprise or B2B applications
- German language skills
- Experience working in agile product environments
- Familiarity with AI-supported design tools such as Figma Make and Claude
- Experience using collaboration platforms like Jira and Confluence
