Operating remotely within the United States, this full-time role involves partnering directly with the marketing department to produce engaging visual content. This position is ideal for a creative professional who combines traditional editing expertise with an enthusiasm for artificial intelligence technologies. The person in this role will receive the time, budget, and freedom to experiment with emerging tools to enhance production speed and overall quality. Key projects include editing YouTube explainers, social media shorts, conference recordings, case studies, and launch films, alongside designing custom titles, motion graphics, and thumbnails.
Responsibilities
- Produce and edit YouTube videos, interviews, and explainer clips with strong audience engagement and pacing
- Create vertical clips and shorts for social media channels
- Edit full conference talks and highlight reels from company events
- Assemble polished launch videos that effectively carry major announcements
- Design thumbnails, title cards, typography, and motion graphics
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to brainstorm ideas and iterate rapidly on feedback
- Utilize AI tools for workflow automation, transcription, thumbnail ideation, and rough cut generation
Requirements
- Provide a portfolio demonstrating strong editing skills across formats such as YouTube, podcasts, and short-form video
- Demonstrate a sharp understanding of story structure, pacing, and audience engagement
- Show proficiency in editing, animation, and design to incorporate visuals and expressive typography
- Possess fluency in professional editing applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro
