Vercel, the agentic infrastructure company trusted by millions of developers and organizations worldwide, is seeking a Workday Integrations Developer. This position operates on-site out of hub locations in San Francisco, New York, or Austin, and reports directly to the Director of People Operations, Infrastructure & Services. The successful candidate will sit at the center of modernizing People Operations by replacing legacy processes with advanced, Vercel-powered tooling and managing core Workday integrations.
This opportunity is ideal for a professional who enjoys working with composable human resources technology and artificial intelligence platforms, bridging technical integration tasks with functional human resources operations. Responsibilities span building and maintaining integrations, partnering with internal teams across finance, information technology, and engineering, and ensuring that all data flows are reliable, secure, and scalable. The role requires an individual who can independently manage projects while maintaining clear documentation and collaborating with functional stakeholders to understand the business logic behind each workflow.
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate internal Vercel-powered tools to support a headless human resources technology stack
- Construct, support, and troubleshoot Workday integrations including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, and APIs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across People Operations, Finance, IT, and Engineering to translate process needs into technical solutions
- Supervise integration health, investigate failures, and implement fixes alongside technical and functional teams
- Document integration logic, field mappings, and workflows clearly for cross-functional visibility
- Contribute to testing, security protocols, and change management practices for system resilience
Requirements
- Four or more years of practical experience building and supporting Workday integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Studio, or APIs
- Working knowledge of XML, XSLT, calculated fields, and the Workday Business Process Framework
- Familiarity with core People Operations functions such as hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, and organizational management
- Strong communication skills to explain technical integration details to non-technical partners
- Ability to independently manage discrete integration projects
Qualifications
- Experience utilizing generative artificial intelligence and agentic coding platforms
- Exposure to Workday security configuration
- Prior experience using Workday Extend to build applications
