Job Description
This six-month contract is for a fraud investigations analyst who handles dubious transactions, scam cases, chargebacks and broader financial crime. The analyst investigates cases from start to finish and makes risk-based decisions in line with company policy and regulatory expectations. The listing places the role in India and marks it as on-site.
Daily work includes reviewing alerts from fraud monitoring systems and analysing transactions, customer behaviour and supporting documents. Based on the evidence, the analyst may restrict or close accounts or clear an alert. The role also covers checking the origin of funds and of wealth where needed, working with internal teams, and getting in touch with outside organisations, for example banks, payment firms and police, when that is necessary.
The job includes keeping precise case records, contributing to fraud prevention work and control improvements, and tracking emerging fraud trends and regulatory changes. Candidates need C1 level English and a year or more of hands-on work in anti-money laundering, fraud, transaction monitoring or financial crime controls, along with the ability to handle several cases before their deadlines.
The listing targets someone who has already led operational teams and wants to join a fast-growing, Europe-focused fintech. Sharp analysis and critical reasoning are expected, along with good documentation habits and comfort working with transaction data and banking information are all expected. Tide describes its business banking platform as serving members in Britain, India, Germany and France.
