Job Description
saas.group is seeking an experienced professional to join its Central Finance Team as an AP Specialist. Founded in 2017, saas.group acquires and grows B2B software brands within a portfolio of 25 products, operating globally with a decentralized workforce. In this hands-on position, the individual will take full ownership of the accounts payable process specifically for French and European entities.
This role suits someone who excels at organizing payment operations, managing vendor invoices, and handling card spend reconciliation. Because many invoices arrive in languages other than English and involve local tax regulations, familiarity with European entities is highly beneficial. The chosen candidate will manage the invoice flow, build process automations using Pleo and Ramp, and establish clean documentation.
During the first three to six months, key priorities include taking over the AP inbox, managing daily payments independently, updating card reconciliations, and cleaning up vendor master data.
Responsibilities
- Verify incoming vendor invoices for correct details, approvals, and general accuracy
- Process and book invoices while batching payments using appropriate methods
- Manage the accounts payable inbox daily to maintain organization
- Reconcile transactions made via Pleo and Ramp corporate cards for assigned entities
- Follow up with cardholders regarding missing descriptions, receipts, or coding
- Maintain and reconcile the vendor master data sheet
- Create and organize the accounts payable folder structure and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in accounts payable or payment operations
- Practical, hands-on experience using Pleo and Ramp
- Fluency in English coupled with clear communication abilities
- Availability to work primarily during Central European Time business hours
- Active use of artificial intelligence tools to support personal productivity
Qualifications
- Prior experience handling accounts payable for European business entities
- Experience in building workflow automations related to Pleo and Ramp
- Familiarity with NetSuite
Core Skills
Benefits
- Completely remote work flexibility
- Autonomous work environment with high trust
- Low bureaucracy and minimal meetings
