This full-time on-site engineering role sits in SGS's corporate IT team in the Philippines. The application solution engineer aligns process design across corporate applications, validates effort estimates and reviews third-party proposals. The role also leads the design of cloud integration solutions using Azure Integration Services and works with the enterprise architecture team.
Responsibilities
- Align end-to-end process design across corporate IT applications with business stakeholders.
- Validate effort estimates, review third-party proposals and coordinate development phases.
- Lead the design and implementation of cloud-based integrations using Logic Apps, Service Bus and API Management.
- Ensure internal and external technical designs meet SGS standards for quality, security and architecture.
Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in IT, computer science or a related field.
- At least five years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid and API Management.
- Experience with hybrid integration and on-premises gateways.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with Azure SDKs for .NET, Java and Python.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns and middleware.
- Familiarity with Agile, DevOps and Lean methods.
