Toptal is seeking remote Applied AI Engineers to work on agentic artificial intelligence solutions for a telecommunications client. This full-time position centers on creating, building, and refining production-level systems rather than conducting purely academic research. The selected professional will take ownership of a distinct production AI workstream, directly influencing system reliability and scalability.
This opportunity is well-suited for machine learning practitioners who possess robust software engineering capabilities. The professional will partner directly with existing platform engineering groups, product divisions, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include translating theoretical concepts into dependable, scalable software applications that function smoothly in active production settings.
Candidates will concentrate heavily on agent orchestration, prompt optimization, model evaluation, and overall performance measurement. Responsibilities
