The platform uses AI-powered underwriting, selfie-based KYC, and minimal documentation through RBI-approved NBFC partnerships to serve first-time borrowers and underserved regions across India.
This role focuses on managing collection performance, overseeing collection agencies, and analyzing MIS metrics within the assigned geography. The position involves guiding a small internal team, tracking recovery outcomes, and maintaining compliance with company policies and RBI guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Own collection performance and execute recovery strategies for the assigned geography and bucket
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 2-5 direct reports toward collection targets
- Oversee 3-6 collection agencies to ensure adequate capacity, productivity, and quality adherence
- Analyze MIS and key collection metrics to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to the code of conduct for collections, company policies, and RBI guidelines
- Collaborate with risk, operations, legal, analytics, and agency management teams to resolve dependencies
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the regional customer profile across local districts and risk pin codes
- Demonstrated ability to drive and manage local collection agencies
- Proficiency in the local language
- Familiarity with the collections code of conduct and its importance
- Strong understanding of the collections business and key metrics including resolution rates, flow rates, bounce rates, ROR for recoveries, and NC/skip ratio
