Utilizing AI-driven underwriting, minimal documentation, and selfie KYC, the company serves first-time borrowers and underserved regions through RBI-regulated NBFC partnerships.
The organization seeks an Area Collections Manager to oversee recovery outcomes, agency management, and portfolio performance in the designated region. This role involves directing a small internal team, managing multiple collection agencies, monitoring recovery metrics, and maintaining strict adherence to compliance rules and RBI guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Manage collection performance for the designated territory and assigned buckets
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of two to five direct reports against recovery goals
- Oversee three to six collection agencies to guarantee compliance, capacity, and productivity
- Analyze management information systems and key metrics to correct performance gaps
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies, the collections code of conduct, and RBI directives
- Collaborate with risk, legal, operations, analytics, and agency management departments
Requirements
- Familiarity with regional customer profiles, including high-risk and favorable pin codes
- Experience directing and utilizing local collection agencies
- Proficiency in the local language
- Knowledge of collection compliance codes and regulations
- Familiarity with collection metrics such as flow rates, resolution rates, bounce rates, recovery ROR, and NC or skip ratios
