Swiggy is hiring an Assistant Manager - Business Finance to work full-time from Bangalore. The organization operates as a prominent on-demand delivery platform in India, utilizing machine learning technology and data processing to serve millions of customers across more than 500 cities. This role focuses on financial reporting, driving growth initiatives, program management for city-level projects, and P&L oversight. The professional selected will analyze data to produce actionable insights, manage strategic partnerships, and lead process improvement tasks.
Responsibilities
- Build and oversee dashboards, scorecards, and business metric views to support tactical decision-making based on sharp analysis
- Create and implement growth plans that target the consumer funnel to hit top-line targets
- Manage city growth projects by setting up tracking mechanisms, activity systems, and identifying hyper-local opportunities
- Examine data to produce critical insights regarding business operations, user quality, and redemption funnels
- Act as the primary point of contact for P&L consolidation and reviews with stakeholders while spotting engagement opportunities
- Handle end-to-end management of strategic partnerships through internal communication and execution leadership
- Conceive, troubleshoot, and apply process improvement strategies inside the team
Requirements
- At least two years of experience working as a data scientist or Business Analyst
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling
- Expertise in SQL, Python, MS Office, and modeling applications
- Familiarity with fundamental probability and statistics principles
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and comfort operating within ambiguous situations with high ownership

- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management capabilities
