Bosch is seeking an Assistant Manager or Senior Engineer for Sensor Development in Bengaluru under job code PS-SB/ENC1-IN. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of sensors to deliver suitable products for customers
- Optimize product costs
- Perform series support activities
- Collaborate closely with IDN and IPN teams
Requirements
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master's degree in engineering
- Proficient knowledge of development tools and quality tools including BES Q basics, ECR, RACE, Concessions, 8D, Focus matrix, DRBFM, FMEA, Requirements engineering, hazard list, Procodex, TCD, deviation check list, BOM, customer drawing, B number creation, and sample order process
- Proficient understanding of product and sub-component specific design, manufacturing processes, functions, material influence, reliability, and validation characteristics
- Advanced functional overview of IC engines and sensors
- Advanced competence in tolerance calculations, material expertise, and Design of Experiments
- Competent in precise, transparent, and proactive communication and networking
- Competent in problem solving
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive engineering, or Electronics engineering
- Master degree in engineering
