Other duties include reviewing and closing BAAM tickets on time, working with Product and Engineering on the soundness of the BAAM infrastructure, and preparing periodic reports on operations and control effectiveness.
The specialist keeps BAAM documentation current, covering manuals, process diagrams and the risk-and-control register, supports the lead in improving BAAM processes, and liaises with internal and external auditors on requests and queries. Ad hoc Treasury projects linked to BAAM may also be assigned. Responsibilities

- Support internal and external audit requests
Requirements
- At least two years of treasury or audit experience in a SOX control environment
- Experience overseeing 500-plus bank accounts spread over several regions and establishing a control governance structure
- Ability to process data in Microsoft Excel and produce presentations in PowerPoint (essential)
- Self-starter who works independently in a collaborative, fast-paced team
- Critical thinking, attention to detail and strong problem solving
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and communication, including summarising key messages
Qualifications
- Light data querying and visualisation know-how such as SQL, Excel VBA or Snowflake (preferable)
- Accounting credentials like ACT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA are desirable, though optional
