Bosch is seeking a BGSW SAP Variant Configuration Consultant to join its team in Bengaluru. This full-time, on-site role involves acting as a senior consultant with expertise in SAP variant configuration processes, CPQ integration, shops, and solution architecture capabilities. The professional in this position will independently lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, implementation coordination, and stakeholder management across both business and IT departments. The focus centers on end-to-end variant configuration processes encompassing non-SAP CPQ solutions, S/4HANA O2C through various sales channels like EDI, shops, and classical channels, alongside purchasing and production domains.
This opportunity is well-suited for an experienced practitioner with a structured and solution-oriented approach who can bridge technical and business requirements in an international environment. Key responsibilities include managing variant configuration projects and feature developments, providing architectural consultation on topics such as LO-VC versus aVC or variant configuration solutions versus discrete master data, gathering business needs, creating functional specifications, and coordinating with ABAP developers, SAP CC experts, and other module consultants. Candidates must possess fluent English communication skills and extensive background in the designated area.
Responsibilities
- Lead variant configuration projects and feature developments across multiple domains
- Provide architectural consulting regarding variant configuration solutions versus discrete master data and LO-VC versus aVC
- Gather and examine business requirements from project stakeholders
- Design high-level solution architectures and integration concepts
- Author functional specifications and implementation documents
- Coordinate implementation tasks with technical teams including ABAP developers, non-SAP CPQ experts, SAP CC experts, and related module consultants
- Manage project stakeholders across distinct workstreams
- Coordinate testing procedures and assist with defect resolution
- Investigate root causes of process and integration problems
- Execute system configuration and customization to meet new business demands
Requirements
- Over 7 years of professional experience
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP variant configuration including end-to-end processing with configurable products, master data, and core variant configuration customizing
- Experience with CPQ solutions and shop integration
- Understanding of integrating variant configuration solutions within the system landscape
- Experience with CPQ solutions, shops, and SAP S/4HANA LO-VC across various modules
- Fluent English language proficiency
Qualifications
- Experience with SAP CC shops
