Oscar Medical Group is hiring a part-time, remote Bilingual Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Virtual Urgent Care team. The organization aims to reshape healthcare delivery through personalized, technology-driven member support. In this role, you will deliver virtual medical care using telephone and messaging channels on the Oscar platform, focusing on care quality and efficiency while reimagining virtual treatment and follow-up procedures.
This position requires working two 10-hour shifts exclusively on weekends, with specific Eastern Time shift schedules available. The role operates from a home office, though occasional travel for company events and team gatherings may be required. Candidates must currently reside in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, or Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver virtual patient care via phone and messaging applications
- Adhere to internal guidelines, policies, and practices of Oscar Medical Group
- Maintain a strong focus on care delivery efficiency and quality
- Facilitate patient access to virtual urgent care services
- Partner with registered nurses, medical assistants, and clinicians across multiple service lines such as primary care and health assessments
Requirements
- Hold a DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA degree from an accredited program
- Possess board certification from the NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC
- Demonstrate bilingual fluency in Spanish, including reading, writing, and speaking skills
- Hold active licensure in at least three of the following five states: Florida, Texas, Ohio, New Jersey, and Georgia
- Acceptance to obtain additional state licenses with company assistance and vendor support
- Accumulate at least 3 years of clinical practice experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or outpatient family medicine
- Bring a minimum of 2 years of telemedicine work experience
Qualifications
- Possession of active medical licenses in additional states supported by Oscar Medical Group, such as Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, or Virginia
Benefits
- Hourly pay rate ranging between $65.00 and $75.00
