Bybit is seeking a remote Regional Business Development Specialist to drive the expansion of its payments ecosystem across Europe and emerging global corridors, focusing specifically on Bybit Pay, Card, and fiat channels.
This role centers on growing the payments network by acquiring merchants, building local payment partnerships, and executing community growth initiatives. The position suits an internationally minded professional with a background in fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency. The successful candidate will manage the entire business development cycle, from market mapping and lead generation to pitching, negotiation, and partnership execution. This involves collaborating closely with internal product, card, fiat, compliance, operations, and marketing teams to scale payment use cases and cross-border settlement channels. Furthermore, the specialist will represent the organization at industry events, formulate regional go-to-market strategies, and deliver market intelligence to optimize product direction.
Responsibilities
- Support market expansion for Bybit Pay across Europe by building and managing the complete growth pipeline.
- Acquire and oversee merchants, fintech partners, payment gateways, Web3 projects, and community leaders.
- Execute the full business development cycle including market mapping, lead generation, pitches, negotiations, and partnerships.
- Partner with internal divisions such as Product, Card, Fiat Channels, Compliance, Payments Ops, and Marketing to activate payment use cases.
- Formulate regional go-to-market strategies and identify high-potential payment corridors for crypto-to-fiat and fiat-to-crypto transfers.
- Facilitate cross-border payment products encompassing settlement channels, merchant integrations, and payout solutions.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor analysis, and partner feedback to guide product development.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem partnerships.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience in payments, fintech, payment service providers, merchant acquiring, merchant growth, or crypto business development.
- Long-term overseas work or study experience.
- Thorough understanding of local payment rails, merchant needs, card programs, and fiat-to-crypto conversion flows.
- Proven track record of launching payment products or driving regional growth in multiple markets.
- Capacity to work independently within a fast-paced, high-ownership setting.
- Native local language proficiency combined with strong English communication skills.
