This L4 position focuses on converting volume trends, staffing variables, and business data into short- and medium-range capacity plans that allow the compliance operation to run efficiently. The ideal candidate will combine deep workforce management expertise with analytical capabilities and comfort using AI-informed planning tools to navigate a changing operational landscape.
In this function, the professional will manage forecasts and capacity models across different compliance markets and queues. Responsibilities involve evaluating drivers behind forecast variances, streamlining planning operations, and designing multi-scenario staffing models to balance service levels, operational flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and employee experience. The role requires close collaboration with finance, recruiting, compliance operations, and third-party vendor management teams to ensure staffing metrics and contractual service level agreements are achieved. Coinbase offers an annual base salary range of $108,630 to $127,800 USD, with potential for equity, bonus eligibility, and standard employee benefits.
Responsibilities
- Manage forecasts and short-range capacity plans across multiple compliance queues and markets
- Build and maintain capacity models using hybrid human-AI tools to account for support channel complexity
- Develop multi-scenario staffing models balancing service levels, employee experience, flexibility, and cost
- Partner with vendor management and BPO partners to maintain contractual service level agreements
- Collaborate with finance, recruiting, and compliance operations to align plans with headcount budgets
- Analyze forecast variances and improve forecasting methodologies through data-driven approaches
- Automate and streamline planning processes to boost scalability and accuracy
- Communicate capacity risks and staffing recommendations to leadership and operational stakeholders
- Utilize generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency and quality
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of relevant experience in workforce management with capacity planning and forecasting expertise
- Proficiency in building capacity models using Google Sheets and/or Excel
- Experience working with WFM platforms such as Assembled or similar tools
- Experience planning for both FTE and BPO workforces across multiple support channels
- Ability to process large datasets to discover trends, run scenarios, and generate recommendations
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- High adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience using BI tools like Looker
- SQL programming experience
- Familiarity with agentic or AI-assisted planning tools
- Background working in tech or fintech industries
