Job Description
Cresta offers an AI platform that unites conversational agents, live assistance for human agents and conversation analytics. Its customers include United Airlines, Cox Communications and Marriott. The company was founded out of the Stanford AI Lab and has attracted funding of over $270 million. This is a full-time, remote role.
The Founding Conversational Designer for APAC will shape how Cresta delivers conversational AI across the region. The person designs and rolls out conversation models that drive live coaching for contact center staff, as well as virtual agents for voice and chat. The position is customer-facing and strategic, combining project ownership with regional influence. Being among the earliest conversation design hires in APAC, the designer helps set delivery practices and supports expansion into new markets.
The designer manages complex AI delivery projects from discovery through deployment and optimization. This covers requirements gathering, solution design, build, QA and post-launch tuning. Work is coordinated with ML, data science, engineering, product, PM and customer success teams, and the designer is a go-to adviser for customers. Customers can also create and upkeep their own models on Cresta Opera, the company's self-service platform, and the role includes delivering the Opera Enablement Program so customers can do that independently.
Across implementations, the designer keeps timelines, priorities and stakeholder expectations aligned, and presents solutions in working sessions, reviews and executive briefings. Virtual agents may be built with flow-based, prompt-based or hybrid architectures. The role also contributes to implementation standards and documentation and partners with North American teams. Total compensation combines base salary, bonus and equity, with pay set by location and market.
