Job Description
Cresta provides an AI platform that brings together conversational AI agents, real-time augmentation for human agents and conversation intelligence to help companies grow revenue and efficiency. Its customers include United Airlines, Cox Communications and Marriott. Founded out of the Stanford AI Lab, the company has attracted funding of more than $270 million and is building its presence across APAC.
The Strategic Sales Director targets some of the biggest companies in Australia and pursues large strategic deals with the potential to change the company's trajectory. The role centers on finding where Cresta can add major value for customers, building relationships with senior executives and explaining the company's AI technology. Because the company is still early in its growth, the director also helps shape the sales process and contributes to regional expansion planning.
Day to day, the director owns the sales experience with decision-makers, runs complex sales cycles from first contact to close, prospects for new clients, designs presentations and business cases, writes proposals, and negotiates contracts. The position calls for deep familiarity with Cresta's product, the contact center market, its competitive edge and customer needs. The director coordinates closely with teams spanning engineering, customer success, marketing and product to deliver an excellent customer experience, and is accountable for meeting the sales target.
The role is listed as remote, with travel of up to 25 percent. Compensation includes a base salary, variable pay (OTE), equity and benefits. Actual base pay depends on experience, skill set, location and local minimum-pay rules. The posting says Cresta is currently recruiting for it in Australia, and the recruiter can share more details.
