Job Description
A remote contractor is needed to help a Northern Virginia investor who buys distressed homes for renovation and resale. The assistant performs property lookups, gathers records, prepares direct-mail batches, maintains spreadsheets, and handles recurring admin. Established templates and research routines already exist, so accuracy in following them matters most. Experience in construction or property deals is welcome but not necessary.
The agency 20four7VA recruits for this client. Work runs about 10 hours weekly on weekdays during evening Eastern time, with exact hours to be set later. The role is an independent contractor position under a written scope, and contractors are not employees of the agency or the client.
Dependability with research, spreadsheets, and follow-through counts for more than sector background. Repetitive, procedure-driven work is standard, so attention to detail has to stay high. Calls come up now and then, so a clear speaking voice on the phone is necessary. When ownership or property facts are murky, flag them instead of making assumptions. Keeping accurate mailing records and a clear outreach history is part of the routine, and the client expects the same templates to be used each time.
