Job Description

20four7VA is recruiting an independent contractor for a WordPress website design and development project. The engagement is for a new real estate business, is project-based, and is listed at about 10 hours per week. Contractors are engaged under a master services agreement together with a separate statement of work, and the posting makes clear it does not constitute employment.

The project is a clean, modern and professional website built on WordPress, so the client can manage routine content, contact details and property listings from the admin area. The site is capped at six primary pages covering the home page, an About Me page, and dedicated Buying, Selling, Relocation and Contact pages. The buying, selling and relocation pages each serve a distinct audience and include a call to action or contact option.

The contractor would also set up a lead form that captures a visitor's first and last name, email address, phone number and a message, and sends notifications to a designated address. A simple listing structure would let the client add properties with images, titles and addresses, with an inquiry option on each listing. Brokerage branding and visual requirements supplied by the client must be applied. The site must be responsive across desktop, tablet and mobile, and navigation, forms and listings must be tested before launch. Direct MLS or IDX feed integration is outside the scope unless separately approved.

The posting asks for a junior-level contractor with English fluency and a near-native accent preference. Scheduled working days are Monday to Friday, and daily working hours are still to be determined.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build a responsive WordPress site with up to six primary pages.
  • Create clear navigation that separates the buying, selling and relocation audiences.
  • Set up WordPress so routine content and property listings can be edited from the admin area.
  • Build a homepage that explains what the business offers and sends visitors toward the three service paths.
  • Create a relocation page covering the local areas served, using client-supplied content.
  • Build a property-listing structure with images, titles and addresses, plus an inquiry action on each listing.
  • Configure the contact form and confirm that test inquiries reach the designated email address.
  • Apply the client's brokerage branding and logo requirements.
  • Test navigation, forms, listings and links across devices, and fix in-scope defects.
  • Support the final launch, then hand over admin access and basic update guidance.
  • Help, if needed, with basic GoDaddy domain and hosting setup; the client pays those charges directly.

Requirements

  • Able to take a WordPress website from design through to launch within an agreed statement of work.
  • Fluent English with a near-native accent preferred.
  • Availability for about 10 hours per week on Monday to Friday, on a project basis.
  • Comfortable working within a defined scope and agreed deliverables.

Benefits

  • Competitive rates.
  • Weekly payments.
  • Free training and upskilling.
  • Ongoing support and guidance, plus a community of contractors.
