Job Description
This is a remote contract position, not a salaried job, for a technically inclined virtual assistant who will support a client's executive workload. Day to day, the person sits in on scheduled meetings, writes clear minutes, chases open items, and keeps a tidy archive of decisions and interview activity. Some technical lookups and simple process support also come with the role. An IT or technical background and comfort with AI tools are valued, along with the ability to speak with both engineers and non-engineers. Coding ability is not expected.
The arrangement runs about 10 hours a week spread across weekdays, with the daily Eastern time window yet to be set. The posting frames the engagement as independent contracting governed by a written agreement and scope document, and makes clear the person would not be an employee of the agency or the client. Payment flows through the agency, which recruits offshore contractors for clients mainly in the US, UK, Canada, and Australia.
Expect stakeholder communication, coordinating interviews, and preparing short briefs before calls. Anything that needs the client's own judgment should be raised rather than assumed. Hours may grow if performance warrants it.
