The organization seeks an Employee Relations Manager to lead its specialized Employee Relations center of excellence. This role involves supervising a team of Employee Relations Partners, managing high-risk workplace investigations, overseeing performance management casework, and acting as a strategic adviser to senior leadership and legal teams. Candidates should possess strong data literacy, deep knowledge of labor laws, and familiarity with incorporating artificial intelligence tools into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Employee Relations Partners while establishing documentation and process standards.
  • Oversee and conduct complex, high-risk workplace investigations in partnership with the legal department.
  • Handle end-to-end performance management casework, including performance improvement plans, coaching, and exits.
  • Translate company policies and codes of conduct into consistent practices during periods of structural change.
  • Analyze case data and employee relations metrics to identify trends and propose proactive strategies.
  • Act as a strategic adviser to senior leaders on personnel decisions and difficult organizational changes.

Requirements

  • Possess seven to ten years or more of progressive human resources or employee relations experience.
  • Demonstrate direct ownership of employee relations casework and supervisory experience leading a team.
  • Bring deep knowledge of employment regulations such as EEOC, ADA, FMLA, and FLSA.
  • Show experience conducting workplace investigations, gathering facts, and documenting findings.
  • Maintain a reliable and consistent internet connection for remote work days.

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Possess an advanced degree or Juris Doctor.
