Job Description

This is a full-time, remote Engineering Manager role leading a distributed team that enables Ubuntu on new PC and IoT silicon. The group works hand in hand with a large chipmaker's Linux engineers and spans everything from kernel to GUI, refining Ubuntu, a popular Linux desktop and server OS, for the latest chips.

The role involves partnering with commercial clients to bring a polished Ubuntu experience on their platforms, overseeing those engagements and keeping project milestones on schedule. Candidates should have managed or led software engineers, understand agile methodologies, and collaborate well across teams.
