Job Description
Toptal operates a worldwide network of talent that helps companies scale teams on demand. This full-time, remote Enterprise Sales Executive role sits inside Toptal's AI Solutions business in the United States. The executive identifies, develops and closes enterprise deals that move AI from strategy and experiments into production. Offers range from forward-deployed AI and AI platforms to AI consulting, agentic solutions, data services, industry offers, partner solutions and managed services.
The posting says enterprise AI has moved past the testing stage and into real delivery. Businesses are putting money into models, agents and data systems, but many struggle to turn those investments into production systems that deliver results. Toptal presents itself as a partner that pairs AI and domain talent with forward-deployed delivery, platforms, partner ecosystems, human-supervised operations and managed services. The executive's mission is to turn that demand into new enterprise relationships and make Toptal a core AI partner for clients.
Day-to-day work includes managing a set of enterprise AI clients, leading solution development and deal execution with AI Services leadership, Pursuits, Partnerships and Delivery teams, and expanding accounts with Client Partners. Opportunities often start with a single AI initiative, workflow, platform rollout or business problem. The role includes significant fieldwork across the United States and calls for strong pipeline and forecast discipline. The posting does not list a sales target or a pay structure.
Candidates should bring seven to ten or more years of sales experience in enterprise tech, AI software, consulting or services, including direct experience selling enterprise AI. The posting asks for a record of closing complex multi-phase deals of $250,000 or more with enterprises of $2 billion or more in revenue, and an understanding of generative AI, agentic AI, governance and managed AI operations. A bachelor's degree is required, and travel to client sites and events of up to 25 percent is expected.
