Figma seeks a Field Marketing Manager to oversee third-party and partner event strategies, handling everything from contracting and vendor management to logistics and on-site staffing. The platform helps teams design, prototype, and collaborate in real time, and this role directly supports trade shows, sponsorships, and co-marketed activations to drive business goals.

This position is well-suited for an organized professional with extensive background in event operations who can manage complex projects independently. Responsibilities include arranging travel itineraries, resolving on-site issues, reconciling budgets, and coordinating with sales teams to ensure effective lead capture and enablement.

The role requires up to 50 percent travel, including weekend and international trips. Candidates may operate from a designated United States hub or work remotely within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of trade shows, sponsorships, conferences, and partner activations
  • Handle vendor negotiations, contracting, registration, booth fulfillment, and inventory management
  • Coordinate comprehensive travel schedules and logistics for internal attendees and executives
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact to resolve issues and maintain a polished brand presence
  • Perform budget reconciliations and deliver post-event ROI reporting with actionable insights
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to establish sales enablement and lead capture workflows

Requirements

  • Four or more years of professional experience in field marketing, event operations, or event logistics
  • Demonstrated expertise managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts
  • Ability to independently plan, sequence, and execute multi-part projects with minimal oversight
  • Capacity to handle up to 50 percent travel, including international and weekend trips

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with CRM platforms like Salesforce and Sooominfo
  • Experience utilizing event management, exhibitor, and registration tools such as Cvent and RainFocus
  • Knowledge of international shipping, customs, and carnet procedures
  • Possession of a relevant professional certification such as a CMP
