Reporting directly to the Finance Enablement Manager, this hybrid position requires the selected individual to reside within a commutable distance to the designated office location and attend regular in-office events with their team. The person in this role will handle billing and revenue operations by reviewing monthly open opportunities alongside corresponding contracts to prepare billing requirements for internal handoffs.
This position suits an analytical professional capable of examining both straightforward and complex agreements to spot discounts, rates, and terms. Duties involve managing the finance queue by reviewing details to perform complex reconciliations and credit calculations, as well as updating existing documentation with a focus on standardization and automation. The analyst collaborates with sales, Customer Success, and finance leadership to clarify pricing execution and resolve any contract disputes.
Responsibilities
- Analyze financial agreements to verify compliance with internal rules, regulations, and legal standards
- Examine contract conditions, pricing, and terms to detect potential inconsistencies, risks, or discrepancies
- Track financial obligations and monitor contract performance to ensure billing deadlines are met
- Verify special conditions, rates, discounts, and terms across various contract layouts
- Spot potential revenue leakage and variances, working alongside internal teams to investigate and resolve problems
- Partner with sales, Customer Success, and finance leaders to clarify pricing execution and contract terms
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients to support negotiations and resolve disputes
- Produce monthly forecasts and reports regarding revenue recognition needs, contract performance, and opportunity conversion
- Update process documentation and support continuous improvement projects, including workflow enhancements and automation efforts
- Engage in cross-functional projects, system testing, and data quality tasks aimed at boosting operational efficiency
Requirements
- Two to five years of working experience in accounting, financial analysis, Business Administration, or related fields
- Demonstrated background as a financial analyst, contract analyst, or similar capacity
- Proficiency working in a Windows environment utilizing Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Capacity to handle large volumes of complex data across multiple platforms such as Excel reporting, Tableau, and JIRA
- Familiarity with AI tools or M365 Copilot
- Reside within a commutable distance to the specified office location for this hybrid role
