Grafana Labs is seeking an experienced Netsuite Systems Manager to join its Finance Systems team on a full-time, 100% remote basis. In this individual contributor role, the professional will lead administration, configuration, and support for the NetSuite ERP system and related Finance Business Systems. The position reports to the Senior Director of Finance Systems and collaborates closely with Sales Operations, IT, Business Applications, and Finance groups. Key duties involve overseeing day-to-day operations, managing integrations, optimizing system performance, and guiding finance transformation projects focused on the order-to-cash cycle.
The role suits an individual with a strong background in financial systems administration, technical support, and project management. Candidates will utilize native NetSuite tools and Grafana dashboards to generate actionable insights and reports while ensuring data integrity and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of NetSuite and other Finance Business systems, including hands-on support and troubleshooting
- Administer the NetSuite ERP platform with an emphasis on Financial, Advanced Revenue Management, and Zone billing modules
- Handle system configuration, customizations, upgrades, and maintenance while adhering to ITGC, change management, and SDLC processes
- Build and maintain custom fields, workflows, and scripts
- Supervise system integrations with external business applications
- Monitor user access management, segregation of duties reviews, and regular audits to resolve conflicts
- Oversee governance, change management, and general ledger maintenance to support stakeholder reporting needs
- Track open cases and change requests through a ticketing system until resolution
- Ensure SOX compliance and data integrity across the platform
- Configure and lead finance transformation projects centered on the order-to-cash lifecycle
- Collaborate across departments including Sales, Legal, Engineering, Finance, and IT to gather requirements and implement solutions
- Create detailed project plans outlining approach, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Build high-performing dashboards and reports using native NetSuite tools and Grafana dashboards
Requirements
- Possess progressive experience as a Finance System Administrator working with NetSuite and associated financial system tools like Avalara, Expensify, and Zip
- Bring hands-on IT support expertise for troubleshooting and resolving functional and technical issues
- Demonstrate experience with data migration, mapping, and integration within NetSuite, including Salesforce integration, Advanced Revenue Management, and billing modules
- Show administrator-level knowledge of privileged access, custom objects, multiple charts of accounts, dynamic approval chains, tax codes, custom workflows, and supplier configuration
- Understand IT General Controls and operating within SOX, SOC, and ISO compliant environments
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with project management tools and concepts such as Miro, Monday.com, and Github
