Reddit is seeking a mid-level Frontend Engineer to join the Ads Manager team within the Advertiser Platform organization. In this position, the professional will focus on making complex advertising workflows accessible, reliable, and performant.
This role suits an engineer capable of independently steering medium-sized frontend projects from technical design through release. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to build intuitive interfaces and reusable components. Responsibilities
- Build accessible and intuitive interfaces for advertisers to create and manage campaigns
- Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to scope projects based on advertiser needs
- Manage technical design, implementation, testing, and release cycles for medium-sized frontend projects
- Share progress, risks, and dependencies early to assist partner planning
- Review peer code and document technical decisions to support team maintenance and future work
- Enhance frontend reliability and performance, fix software bugs, and supply reusable patterns and components
Requirements
- At least three years of software engineering experience
- A minimum of two years of frontend engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production web applications
- Capability to break down projects, evaluate technical tradeoffs, and deliver solutions independently
- Clear communication skills combined with a collaborative approach to solving problems
- Experience writing maintainable code, executing tests, and engaging in code reviews
