Responsibilities
- Direct long-term strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and operating plans for the business
- Monitor execution and delivery targets surrounding festive and event-led peaks
- Oversee daily P&L outcomes and utilize data-driven analysis to advise leadership
- Analyze consumer and category drivers to measure pricing impacts on growth
- Lead gap analysis and conduct weekly financial reviews with business units
- Partner with category teams to structure commercial proposals and handle negotiations
- Collaborate with operations leaders to reduce inefficient costs and enforce governance
- Manage working capital requirements, including inventory levels and return per square foot
- Build financial models, handle reporting, and automate tracking via Business Intelligence tools
Requirements
- Possess 7 to 10 years of post-qualification experience
- Demonstrate background in Business Finance, FP&A, P&L management, and financial modeling
- Show expertise in commercial negotiations and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders
- Operate as a self-starter who handles tasks with minimal direction
Qualifications
- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or an MBA focused on Finance or Strategy
