Candidates will collaborate with global teams across various time zones to build performant code, engage with the open-source community, and help shape product roadmaps.

Responsibilities
- Shaping product roadmaps during global in-person sprints every six months
- Focusing on user experience and design for command-line tools and developer applications
- Writing performant, high-quality, and resilient code serving large daily user bases
- Working toward mastery of Linux system knowledge and key programming languages
- Interacting with the open-source community and users through issue trackers and code reviews
- Addressing customer problems as a top priority while learning enterprise software requirements
- Building skills and awareness regarding software security implementation and design
Requirements
- Exceptional academic performance throughout high school and university studies
- Confidence in writing high-quality code using Python, Rust, C, C++, Golang, JavaScript, or Java
- Familiarity with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution
- A history of going beyond expectations to reach outstanding outcomes
- Result-oriented and organized approach with a strong commitment to meeting goals
- Engaging in personal technology and software engineering projects outside of coursework
- Professional written and spoken English proficiency
- Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, accountability, and flexibility
- Ability to undertake international travel twice yearly for trips lasting up to two weeks
