Moniepoint is seeking a Hardware Quality Assurance Officer to join its team in Port Harcourt. Founded in 2019, Moniepoint operates as an all-in-one financial services platform providing personal and business banking, payments, credit, and management tools, processing a majority of POS transactions in Nigeria.
In this role, the officer will examine repaired payment terminals to prevent defective hardware from reaching businesses. The position involves inspecting devices, executing test procedures with test sheets, maintaining thorough documentation, and collaborating with repair technicians, engineers, and the inventory team.
Candidates will handle terminal collection workflows, return non-conforming items to inventory, maintain accurate stock records, and contribute to process improvements for repair quality. This position suits detail-oriented individuals with strong analytical capabilities and an understanding of terminal testing and quality assurance procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough visual and technical inspections on repaired terminals to spot any defects or standard deviations
- Validate functionality and performance by executing test procedures using designated test sheets
- Keep detailed logs of quality inspections, test results, and any discovered issues
- Coordinate with repair technicians, engineers, and other teams to resolve quality concerns
- Establish and run the workflow for collecting terminals and returning non-conforming units to inventory
- Maintain accurate and proper records of incoming and returned terminals
- Identify improvement opportunities to boost the efficiency and quality of repairs
- Complete additional duties assigned by the line manager
Requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to reconcile discrepancies and spot areas for enhancement
- High attention to detail alongside precision in record-keeping and data entry
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize work and adhere to deadlines

Qualifications
- OND, HND, or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field
