This executive role reports to the Chief Audit Officer within the Internal Audit department. The position suits an experienced technology risk professional ready to provide strategic leadership for the company's technology audit function.
The person in this role will oversee comprehensive risk assessments, evaluate cybersecurity and IT governance controls, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and advise leadership on mitigating tech risks across cloud environments, applications, and enterprise infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement an annual, risk-based IT audit plan aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory trends
- Direct audits related to network security, cloud architecture on Google and AWS, identity and access management, data privacy, and disaster recovery
- Assess alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, SOC 2, and data privacy laws like GDPR and NDPR
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of technical specialists and IT auditors
- Report findings, risk assessments, and remediation plans to the Chief Audit Officer and Senior Executive Management
- Integrate data analytics, continuous controls monitoring, and automated audit techniques into the audit lifecycle
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive background in IT auditing, cybersecurity, or technology risk management
- At least 4 years of experience in a senior leadership or management capacity
- Certified Information Systems Auditor certification
- Technical knowledge of AWS and Google cloud environments, network infrastructure, database security, application controls, APIs, and IT General Controls
- Proficiency in advanced predictive and prescriptive data analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related quantitative field
- Additional certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or CIA
