Job Description
SEEK is hiring an HR Specialist in its Employee Services team to support employees in Malaysia and Singapore. The posting does not state a city for the role. The position is full-time and on-site. The specialist acts as a trusted HR adviser and manages the employee journey from hire to retirement while keeping to local employment rules. The line manager is the Manager of HR Operations and Payroll, Asia.
Day-to-day work covers onboarding and offboarding, including orientation and exit procedures. The specialist answers HR policy questions from employees and managers, helps them use the self-service portal, and keeps HR information system and payroll records accurate when employee details change. The job is to be a dependable point of contact for HR queries that come in.
The specialist also checks payroll for assigned regions, confirming the figures are accurate and that tax, statutory contribution and employment-law duties are met. As SEEK moves to vendor-managed payroll, the specialist helps validate processes and supports the planning of that regional transition. Work is coordinated alongside HRBPs and outside service suppliers.
